New Delhi: On Friday the Indian rupee gains 5 paise to Rs 64.38 against US Dollar on account of selling of American currency by banks and exporters. On Thursday the local currency down 15 paise at Rs 64.43 against US Dollar.
For now RBI, fixed the reference rate for the dollar at 64.4273 and for the euro at 74.1880. Domestic equity markets opening in green after financial results of oil-and-telecom behemoth Reliance Industries.
The BSE Sensex opened 131.48 points, or 0.41 per cent, up at 32,035.88, whereas NSE Nifty opened 26.30 points, or 0.27 per cent, up at 9,899.60.
Administration bonds concluded little alteration on Thursday, as investors deferred purchases forward of a weekly debt auction. The benchmark 6.79% 2027 bond yield was untouched at 6.45% in the preceding session.
