Rupee gains 11 paise to 66.56 against US Dollar


MUMBAI: Today the Indian rupee gains by 11 paise to 66.56 against the US dollar in early trade at the forex market on augmented selling of the American currency by banks and exporters.

Forex dealers has also further conveyed that, in addition, sustained foreign fund inflows, failing of the dollar next to other currencies abroad subsequent to previous week's softer-than-forecast US jobs data, and a superior commencing in the domestic equity market improved the rupee value next to the dollar.

The rupee had concluded marginally superior by 1 paisa at 66.67 in Friday's buy and sell. Meanwhile, the benchmark BSE Sensex rebounded by 155.50 points or 0.55 per cent to 28,216.64 in near the beginning buy and sell.
