Mumbai: Today the Indian rupee up 3 paise at Rs 64.32 against US Dollar on fresh bouts of dollar by exporters. On Monday the local currency concluded up 10 paise at Rs 64.35 next to the US Dollar.
The RBI fixed the reference rate for the dollar at 64.3666 and for the euro at 73.6933. For now the domestic equity markets commenced in red following mixed cues.
The BSE Sensex down 299.24 points at 31,775.54, whereas NSE Nifty also down 83.25 points at 9,832.70.
On Monday Foreign portfolio investors stood net buyers in domestic equity markets and bought shares worth Rs 535.54 crore with gross purchases and gross sales of Rs 4307.53 crore and Rs 3771.99 crore, correspondingly.
On Monday administration bonds appreciated, tracking raise in US treasury prices, traders expect key central bank gatherings forward.
