RSS Worker’s Murder: Protest in Bengaluru


A protest was held in Bengaluru by the BJP and RSS workers on Monday against the assassination of of a local RSS worker. The investigation has been ordered against the case.

The name of the victim has been identified as Rudresh, a 35-year old RSS worker. On Sunday, he was sentenced to death by two motorcycle-borne men who struck him with machete on Kamaraja Road in Bengaluru. He was going back to home after RSS event.

The incident took place in Shivajinagar area of Bengaluru  while the RSS workers has called for ‘Bandh’ on Monday.

“Various security arrangements had been made all over the city as a precautionary measure, adding that central forces have also been deployed”, police said.

“Platoons of Karnataka State Reserve Police, City Armed Reserve, Rapid Action Force and Central Industrial security Force have been deployed”, police added.

BJP and RSS specialists drove by previous Deputy Chief Minister R Ashoka and Members of Parliament Shobha Karandlaje and P C Mohan and others, walked from Shivajinagar towards Police Commissioner's office, however were ceased halfway.
