Rs 15 lakhs robbed from Ludhiana Bank in 90 seconds: Accused arrested


Ludhiana: At around 3:45 pm, from the Jawahar Nagar camp branch of the Punjab National Bank (PNB) four armed men robbed Rs 15 lakh. The thieves with their faces enclosed, got into the bank and fired gunshots. Their faces were covered with handkerchief. They held the cashier at gunpoint and made away with the cash in less than two minutes. Six bank employees and a customer were there in the bank at the moment of the occurrence. The bank is just a few feet away from Kochhar market police post. The police have acquired CCTV footage of the happening.
