Rs 13 lakh relief to deceased fireman: CM Edappadi K Palaniswami


Chennai: On Sunday Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami declared financial relief of Rs 13 lakh to the family of the fireman who killed as drenching fire at a bakery and also offered a job to one of his family members.

Meeting with those who was wounded in the fire accident at the administration Kilpauk Medical Hospital, the CM Palaniswami declares that a family member of Egaraj (the departed fireman) would be given a job by the administration along with the monetary reimbursement.

CM Palaniswami further conveyed that, Rs 3 lakh will be given to the family from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund and remaining Rs 10 lakh will be given as relief to the family.

He also declares a relief of Rs 50,000 to those fatally wounded in the fire mishap and Rs 25,000 for those wounded in the accident.

CM further added that, the people will be treated under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Insurance Health Scheme and monetary reimbursement will be given to all the wounded people. Health Minister C Vijayabhaskar also reached the victims and consoled them.
