Two-wheeler manufacturer company Royal Enfield has now unveiled the two new Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Classic 500 motorcycles in India and the bookings will start from September 18, 2017. The Classic 350 available in Gunmetal Grey color variant and reaches with a price tag of Rs 1.59 lakh. The new Classic 500 available in Stealth Black color variant and also reaches with a price tag of Rs 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom price, Chennai). Both bikes have equipped with rear disc brake.
Commenting on the launch, Rudratej Singh, President, Royal Enfield conveyed that we try to attach to things that are real. The new Gunmetal Grey and Stealth Black versions of the Classic are an ode to our riders. We are sure that this will resound with riders who believe in what we believe.
Talking about the features, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Classic 500 reaches with an updated swingarm which will be taken from the present Thunderbird series, automatic headlamp on (AHO) function and BS-IV compliant engines.
The Classic 350 bike attains a 346 cc single-cylinder air cooled engine that generates 19.8 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque whereas mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It is recently the best selling bike in the corporation’s line. The bike has 346cc single cylinder twin spark engine for 19.8 bhp of power at 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
The Classic 500 also attains a 499 cc single-cylinder air cooled engine that churns out around 27.2 bhp and 41.3 Nm of peak torque and also has the similar 5-speed gearbox. The bike has a 499cc single cylinder twin spark engine with fuel injection. It generates 27.2 bhp of power at 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
