Rohtang pass, is high mountain pass situated on the Eastern of Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km from the beautiful hill station Manali. Rohtang pass connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh.
Rohtang is mostly considered the adventurous pass in the entire country, as it is located on the height 3,978m (13,050 fetes).
Rohtang Pass is highest point on Manali and Keylong Pass.
HOW TO REACH
Rohtang pass is located at a distance of 51 km from Manali, one can reach the pass, which remains open from June to October, either by on your own or by taxi or buses.

The nearest airport is in Bhuntar about 104 km from Rohtang Pass. Manali falls on the same road, National Highway 21, about 51 km from Bhuntar Airport is in Himachal Pradesh.
Joginder Nagar is the nearest railway station which is about 103 km from Rohtang Pass and 50 km from Manali.
It is well connected by Himachal Road Transport Corporation buses that start from Manali and go as far as Leh via Rohtang Pass and then through Keylong and Sarchu. HRTC, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and private operators runs both air conditioned and non air conditioned deluxe coaches. During June to October, the buses do regular rounds between Manali to Keylong. It is the cheapest mode to travel Rohtang Pass.

Rohtang pass is the most adventurous spot in Himachal. One can do hiking and trekking on the mountains. Those who are fond of driving on the mountains, Rohtang Pass is perfect.
One can do Snow scooter rides at Rohtang pass, camping can be done there once you reach the top.
Paragliding can also be done from the top.
