The player joined skipper Virat Kohli in this record as he is currently the batsmen from India to achieve big score.
He contributed this wonderful landmark during his innings of 17 against Sri Lanka in the first T20I match that took place at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on 20 December 2017. Rohit Sharma has played 69 T20Is for India and contributed 1502 runs at an average of 30.04 with a strike rate of 129.93. He batted 134 fours and 56 sixes.
In year 2015, Rohit clinched century in T20I against South Africa where he contributed 106 runs.
