World No. 1 Roger Federer defeated Federico Delbonis of Argentina 6-3, 7-6 (6) at the BNP Paribas Open in a rain-delayed debut match on Sunday.
Roger Federer scored 6-3, 2-2 on Saturday when the match gets late for 56 minutes due to heavy rain. Now, he will play against Filip Krajinovic today in the next round.
On the other hand, Marin Cilic wins against Marton Fucsovics by 7-5, 6-3 at BNP Paribas Open whereas Taro Daniel clinched the game against Novak Djokovic 7-6 (3), 4-6, 6-1.
Novak Djokovic lost the game against Hyeon Chung at the Australian Open. After a first-round way out in 2006, it was the soonest defeat for Djokovic at Indian Wells.
“It felt like first match I ever played on the tour,” Djokovic stated. “Very weird. I mean, I just completely lost rhythm, everything.” He added.
