Roasted Red Pepper and Feta Dip


Greek cooking has an incredibly rich and diverse array of foods and beverages that are a result of literally thousands of years of living, cooking, and eating. Each Greek meal is fresh and inviting, and takes you on a journey through Greece's history. The cooking methods and basic ingredients have changed little over time. Even the names of certain dishes remain the same. Bread, olives and olive oil, and wine have been the backbone of the Greek diet for many centuries, just as they do today. So here is the recipe:

Navratri Special: Beetroot Salad


  • Red bell pepper roasted and deseeded 4 medium
  • Jalapeno roasted 1 cup
  • Feta cheese ½ cup
  • Sundried tomatoes 4
  • Garlic cloves 1
  • Spring onion bulb 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste
  • Lemon juice 2 teaspoons


  1. Blend together the bell peppers, feta cheese, jalapeno, sun dried tomatoes, garlic and spring onion bulb. Add the salt and crushed peppercorns and blend again.
  2. Add lemon juice and blend to a smooth paste.
  3. Serve.
