Virender completed ninth in the men's spear F56/57 last at the Rio Paralympics Games here. Virender Dankhar had a best of 35.73m from his three endeavors at the Olympic stadium on Monday.
The gold and silver awards went to Iranians Mohammad Khalvandu and Abdollah Heidari Til with a separation of 46.12m and 43.77m. The bronze went to Ngoc Hung Cao of Vietnam with a season's best of 43.27m.
China's Li Guizhi set another World record to win gold in the ladies' 50m free-form S11 swimming. The 23-year-old timed 30.73 seconds to beat the past record held by Liesette Bruinsma of the Netherlands.
Sweden's Maja Reichard took silver in 30.76 and the Ukraine's Maryna Piddubna imparted bronze to Bruinsma after both coordinated 31.23.
