Review of movie ‘Te3n’

Vidya Balan, Nawazuddin Siddique and Amitabh Bachchan starrer movie “Te3n” is South Korean thriller montage and is official remake of the 2013 film directed by Chung Keun-Sup.

The movie firmly rooted in Kolkata where events unfold in eight year period. Teen is Nawazuddin and Vidya’s second film together. Amitabh Bachchan’s presence is adding more enthusiasm in the movie.

Teen is suspense thriller movie that brings two parallel investigations of two kidnappings and tries its best to build up an emotionally charged film.

Bachchan plays a role of John Biswas, an old man whose eight year old granddaughter Angela gets kidnapped and killed in 2007. Over the eight year, he pursues police officer Matin Das (Siddiqui) who handled his case.

On the other side there is Martin Das (Nawazuddin Siddique) who is an ex-cop turned priest and he also has one thing in common with John Angela’s kidnapping.

Father Martin is once again dragged into the investigation by cop Sarita Sarkar (Vidya Balan). While the priest & the cop tackle the new kidnapping, John stubbornly pieces together the identity of Angela's kidnapper from the bits of information that he collects through his own investigations.

The trio Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan shines in their roles. Amitabh Bachchan has played significant role in the movie. Their helplessness and body language has come out in the movie so nicely.
