The board conducted written preliminary examination on June 18 at several test centres across the state. The paper was conducted to fill around 980 posts.

Things to know:
The CSAT exam was held in two categories including subjective test and the final test which involved Interview in front of the panel.
The UPSC conducts CSE paper annually in three phases – preliminary, main and interview – to choose officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS).
CSAT paper involved two objective type papers. It was held for 2 hours and included 200 marks.
