New Delhi : Shenoy, who was assigned as a Deputy Superintendent Police, Kudligi sub-division of Ballari district, has invoke personal reason behind her resigning from the post.

Anupama Shenoy, the Senior Karnataka woman cop who has regined from her post,due to transferring her for putting a minister’s call on hold. The three-word post on her facebook page has now stirred a controversy for the top top cop.

Sand Mafia , Liquor forced her to resign ?

 

Shenoy, who was assigned as a Deputy Superintendent Police, Kudligi sub-division of Ballari district, has invoke personal reason behind her resigning from the post.the media reports said that the 2010 batch’s officer’s decision to quit when after she had to face protest after she arrested three people constructing a building for a liquor shop.

 The  officer had also  been in highlights for taking on liquor and sand mafia in her jurisdiction.

Will look into the matter : Says by Siddaramaiah

The Karnataka Chief Minister said he is aware of the Shenoy’s  resignation , but including that he has no information about what prompt her to resignation. The officer are looking into the matter. The resignation is sent to the DG. Officer will look into it. Siddaramaiah told repoters.

Controversies

Shenoy was stave off in January for placing a phone call from a minister on hold. Karnataka Home Department was sent Shenoy on official duty order (ood) just few days after she unintentionally put minister PT. Paramehsawra Naik’s call om hold on January 18.

Naik, reported the Home Minister  and Karnataka Chief G. Paramehsawra, over the incident.she was shaunted soon after.

The incident  had triggered a massive outrage with the opposition BJP will leading the attack on the ruling Congress.Shenoy was replace in February.
