In any Indian wedding, mehendi ceremony holds a special place. While the mehendi on your hands and feet makes you look even more prettier. But later the henna designs begin to fade–and then, the misshapen flaking designs are a pleasant sight anymore. If you want to get rid of the fading mehendi quickly, here are few natural tips for the problem.
Lemon- The bleaching properties of lemon helps in lightening the mehendi colour. Cut a lemon into two halves and squeeze the juice. Now gently rub using the peel for a few minutes before rinsing with warm water. It’s best to do this process twice a day.
The ingredients in toothpaste can help you get rid of the mehendi colour very soon. Apply a thin layer of toothpaste over the mehendi and let it dry naturally. Gently rub off the dried toothpaste. For immediate results do this once every alternate day.
Salt water soak-
One of the cleansing agents, salt can gradually help you get rid of the mehendi stains. Add one cup common salt to tub half filled with warm water and soak your hands or feet in it for about 20 minutes. Do this every alternate day for better results.
