Reliance Jio opens 4G service for users on trial basis


New Delhi. Reliance Jio’s 4G Service has not been launched yet but some users can take its advantage right now. Reliance Jio has opened up its much awaited 4G services for the general public on trial basis.

The Reliance is starting a Referral scheme. Under the scheme, any RIL group firm employee can invite 10 people to buy Jio’s 4G SIM and LYF handset. A unique code is sent by the employee which is supposed to be shown at Reliance Digital or Digital Express store.

The users will be able to take advantage of the company’s Life Package for 90 days. The connection will come bundled with unlimited 4G mobile internet, high speed data, HD video, phone calls and SMS service. The invitee will need to pay Rs 200 to activate services. This bundle gives access to 8 premium applications. These apps are connected to live TV, movies, TV shows, magazines, newspaper, news services and cloud storage.

One can avail this offer by buying new 4G Life handset whose range starts from Rs 5499.

RIL recently reported over 5 lakh users are using its network on the trial phase. It has seen normal monthly consumption per user is in excess of 18GB and average voice usage is over 250 minutes within the first month of service.
