Registrations of CMAT begins from today


The registrations for Common Management Admission Test has been started by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The exam will be held on January 28 and January 29.

Educational qualification:

The aspirants must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute. Also, the final year students can apply for the examination.

Steps to download

  • Log on to the official website,
  • Register as 'new user'
  • Read the instructions carefully
  • Fill-in all the details in a prescribed format
  • Click to submit
  • All the candidates are advised to take a printout of the same

Application fee:

All the aspirants must pay Rs 1400 for each application form while SC/ST students need to pay Rs 700 only.

Paper pattern:

  • The exam will comprise of 100 questions which will be based on Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. It will carry a total of 100 marks.
  • The test will be conducted for a duration of three hours.
  • There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, one mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Trial test will be held on December 15.
