GATE exam is conducted to recruit applicants in several undergraduate subjects in engineering and technology.

The paper is held to recruit individuals in post-graduate programmes in Indian institutes of higher education with financial assistance given by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and other government agencies.

The paper will be held on February 3, February 4 and February 10 and February 11.

Qualification criteria for GATE 2018:

BE/BTech/BPharm: Bachelor’s degree in designing/innovation (Four years following 10+2 or three years after BSc/recognition in building/innovation) and the individuals who are in the last year of such projects.

BArch: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Five years course)

BSc (Research)/BS: Bachelor’s degree in Science (Post-Diploma/4 years after 10+2)

MSc/MA/MCA or equal: Master’s degree in any branch of science/arithmetic/insights/PC applications or identical

Int. ME/MTech (Post-BSc): Post-BSc Integrated Master’s degree programs in designing/innovation (Four year program)

Int. ME/MTech or double degree (after certificate or 10+2): Integrated Master’s degree program or double degree program in designing/innovation (Five year program)

Int. MSc/Int BS-MS: Integrated M.Sc. or, then again Five year incorporated B. S./M. S. Program
