National Institute of Design (NID) has released the registration dates for entrance exam of National Institute of Design (NID) on the official website.
The exam will be held to give admission to the students in Bachelor of Design (BDes) as well as Master of Design (MDes) programmes.
The aspirants must clear all the three stages of the exam to get the admissions. Once the aspirants will qualify the entrance exam then they will be called for studio test and interview round.
The exam will be held on January 10, 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm.
The exam will be conducted in various cities including NID Ahmedabad, NID Gandhinagar and NID Bengaluru. There are around 100 seats to get the admissions in all NID’s.
The entrance exam consisted of two sections including part A and part B. The first section of the exam contains objective type questions whereas the second part contains subjective type questions
The test will comprised of 100 marks and the duration of the same will be three hours
The DAT tests each student's ability in:
- Design Problem Solving
- Visual Sense
- Observation and Perception
- Environmental Awareness
- Mental Ability and Communication skills through a range of visual and textual questions
