Vermicelli Idli Recipe!

INGREDIENTS-

1 cup White Vermicelli

1/4 cup Sooji

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup Green Peas

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds

Hing

1 tsp Baking soda

2 tbsp Oil for vermicelli

2 tbsp Oil

1/4 Cup finely chopped beans

1/4 Cup grated carrots

Curry Leaves

1/2 cup curd

METHOD OF PREPARATION-

  1. Add some oil and mustard seeds in a pan. Once the seeds splutter add the curry leaves, hing, beans, peas, carrots, sooji and vermicelli. Roast them all well.

2. Take out the roasted ingredients in a bowl.

3. Add curd, salt, baking soda and water in the same bowl and and mix it well. This will be the batter.

4. Fill in the idli moulds with the batter and place them in the steamer.

5. Steam these idlis for around 15 mins.
