Kashmir: 22-yr-old LeT terrorist escapes from hospital, two policemen dead
A 22-year-old LeT terrorist flee from the supervision of jail authorities in theatrical style after his acquaintances started firing on his companions. The incident occurred when he was moved to a Srinagar hospital for a health check yesterday.
As per the reports, Policemen Babur Ahmad Khan and Mushtaq Ahmad picketing the LeT militant lost their lives.
J&K Director General of Police S.P. Vaid stated, “6 Pakistani captives were directed to be shifted from Srinagar Central Jail to Jammu but the culprit, Mohammed Naveed Jhutt aka Abu Hunzala, received a stay order from a Kashmir court in December 2017.”
A native of Multan, Jhutt, was detained in year 2014 from Anantnag as he was indulged in the attacks of three security guards in South Kashmir. The case of attempt to murder and robbery was lodged against him.
As per senior Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) police official reports, 3 cops followed Jhutt to the Sri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital.
“Two individuals in phirans (woollen gowns) was carrying a weapon and they started gunfire. Khan lost his lives after he was hit in the chest. Ahmad was wounded and he lost his lived because of wounds,” official affirmed.
J&K High Court issued an order on November 23, 2016 that Jhutt must be wedged in a jail of Srinagar.
J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti criticized the attacking of the two cops and articulated her anguish.
“Pained to hear that two more brave policemen lost their lives in an attack in Srinagar today. My heart goes out to their families and loved ones,” Ms. Mehbooba wrote.
6.4-magnitude hits Taiwan Tourist Area, 4 dead, 145 Missing
Taipei: An earthquake of magnitude 6.4-magnitude hit the east coast of Taiwan on Wednesday leaving two dead and wounding over 100 people. The incident destroyed two buildings and a hotel.
As per Premier William Lai, two people lost their lives in the earthquake in the port city of Hualien and 114 were wounded.
In the earthquake nearly four buildings got collapsed whose footage have gone viral on the social media. It shows damaged roads with debris and breaks in highways.
Images revealed the distorted Marshal Hotel tilted on its side, incompletely collapsed into the ground.
Taiwan’s president Tsai Ing-wen stated saviors from around the island were putting efforts to rescue.
“We will get into disaster relief work at the fastest speed,” she added.
At Least 28 people had been evacuated from the hotel and a housing complex.
“The earthquake is so big… There are cracks on the wall, even the fridge moved,” One Facebook user wrote.
Prior, earthquake of magnitude-7.6 hit the central Taiwan in year 1999 and takes the lives of over 2,300 people.

The makers of Kick 2 haven’t finalized the female lead actress of film but the rumors are doing round that Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon and Amy Jackson may play lead role in the movie.
On the other hand, Salman will be seen alongside Jacqueline in Race 3. The film is directed by Remo D’Souza.
Bengaluru FC defeats Chennaiyin FC by 3-1 in ISL
CHENNAI: Bengaluru FC defeated Chennaiyin FC by 3-1 in an Indian Super League (ISL) match on Tuesday. This win helped the team to take seven-point lead in the tally table.
In the fourth minute of match, Player Sunil Chhetri clinched match point to take the team’s tally to nine.
The triumph takes Bengaluru to score 30 points from 14 games whereas Chennaiyin is currently with 23 points.
In the 75th minute of match, Chennaiyin FC’s player Jeje Lalpekhlua mishandled the penalty. His feeble shot was stopped by Bengaluru goalie Gurpreet Singh.
He got chance for penalty shot when Harmanjot Khabra commits a foul within the box.
Chennaiyin skipper Henrique Sereno was sent back in the 71st minute of match after what seemed to be a pointless confront.
In the 63rd minute of match, Miku kicked the goal from nearby range, pattering in following a miss from the Chennaiyin player Karanjit.
Both the teams showed great performance in the first half of the match and it was very exciting one. Bengaluru’s early strike was cancelled out by the host team.
Boithang Haokip started the scoring in the 2nd minute of match, which appeared to shock Chennaiyin FC.
