Delhi: Class 1 student abducted on Republic Day rescued; 1 accused dead in gunfire
Delhi: A five-yr-old child, who was abducted from a school bus on Republic Day in Delhi, has now been evacuated by police. The accused involved in the matter lost his lives in gunfire.
The police detained one of the suspected abductor into the matter. Two people got wounded after they started gunfire on the cop squad in Ghaziabad.
As per the reports, Class 1 student has been now given to his parents. Further probe into the matter is in process.
“We were informed at around 1am that our child has been rescued while doctors stated that he required rest,” grandfather of child stated.
In January, two unknown men on a motorcycle kidnapped Class 1 student from a school bus in east Delhi after attacking the driver of bus. At the time of incident, there were around 20 children in the bus.
The matter occurred when the school students were going to school at 7.30 am on 26 January 2018.
Pirates released hijacked oil tanker with 22 Indian Sailors
Oil Tanker ‘Marine Express’ including 22 Indian workers which was hijacked by pirates and mislaid off the coast of Benin in north-west Africa four days back, has now been set free, authorities stated.
As per the reports, all the ship members, who witnessed four-day suffering, are now released.
“The ship, Marine Express, has been released and is back under the command of the captain,” Director General of Shipping Malini Shankar asserted.
At the time of incident, the oil tanker was at the port Cotonou in the Gulf of Guinea in Benin and the pirates hijacked it on February 1. They even shut down all the communication systems on the tanker.
A spokesperson at the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) had prior validated that the waters in which the oil tanker was hijacked are contaminated with sea pirates.
Prior, oil tanker MT Barret vanished off the coast of Benin last month and was later validated to have been taken over by pirates. Later, all the crew members of the ship were released.
Hrithik Roshan first look from ‘Super 30’ revealed
Bollywood’s handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan’s much talked about film ‘Super 30’ is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar. And Hrthik has kicked off the shoot of the film.
On Tuesday the makers of the film revealed the first look of the actor from the film. While the fans who have been waiting with bated breath to catch a glimpse of the actor in the upcoming film can’t be more impressed.
Hrithik also shared the picture of his first look on his Instagram account with the caption, AND THE JOURNEY BEGINS…#SUPER30“.

The actor seems to have slipped easily into his character of a Patna based teacher Anand Kumar, donning a thick beard and dishevelled hair. It is to be known that Anand Kumar became popular for tutoring IIT aspirants belonging to underprivileged backgrounds. While Hrithik Roshan is in the lead role, the female lead of the film is yet to be announced.
The film ‘Super 30’ is directed by ‘Queen’ fame Vikas Bahl which is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 25, 2019.
U-19 Player Ishan Porel likely to miss Vijay Hazare Trophy
New Delhi: Indian U19 Player Ishan Porel is probable to miss continuing Vijay Hazare ODI matches because of a foot injury. He showed terrific performance in World Cup matches during the tournament.
“As a precautionary measure, he (Porel) has been advised rest. We don’t want to aggravate his injury,” a spokesperson stated.
Ishan Porel didn’t take part in some matches in the World Cup due to injury that took place during India-Australia match.
Though, he returned in the quarter-final match against Bangladesh and showed his excellent side during India’s semi-final match against Pakistan. He took four wickets during the match. Not only against Pakistan, Porel too displayed his amazing performance in the finals against Australia. He clinched two wickets during the match and takes a lead against Australia. His efforts in the match helped India to win fourth World Cup title.
“He’s not fully recovered, and bowled with pain on his foot. Such a kind of injury would take a minimum three weeks to recover,” Das stated.
Bengal team had a hard-hitting begining to their campaign as they were thrashed away by Maharashtra in the starting clash of Group B in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
