Two Pakistan-trained LeT terrorists detained at Wagah-Attari crossing in Kashmir
2 Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists who took militant guidance in Pakistan were detained on Friday at the Wagah-Attari border of Jammu and Kashmir.
The terrorists have been found as Abdul Majeed Bhat and Mohammad Ashraf Mir.
“They had received passports specifically for the said purpose. These terrorists of the LeT were nabbed straight away after coming back via Wagah-Attari border before they could formally join the terrorist ranks here in Kashmir,” a police officer quoted.
As per the cops, the terrorists disclosed on interrogation that that they had taken terrorist guidance in Pakistan with several Pakistani boys.
“They stated militant camps are situated close to Burma Town, Islamabad and are being operated by a terrorist commander under code name Hanzala Adanan and Omar. Other militants giving guidance to young boys are famous with nicknames Osama, Naveed and Hataf,” officer affirmed.
In 2017, two terrorists including Azharuddin and Sajad Ahmad had left to Pakistan on valid visas to take terror training but they were killed later after they joined terrorist groups.
In August 2-17, Suhaib Farooq Akhoon of Baramulla had gone to Pakistan after taking terrorist training in LeT terrorist camp. Later, he joined militant group.
“Parents are appealed to keep watch on their children and their prolonged absence from house should be immediately reported to cops so that lives of these boys are saved,” the officer stated.
Syrian rebels attack Russia’s Sukhoi-25, pilot dead
Russian helicopter Sukhoi-25 crashed on Saturday after Syrian rebels attacked it in Idlib de-escalation zone. It led to the death of Russian pilot on Saturday, the defence ministry reported.
“A Russian Su-25 aircraft crashed during a flight over the Idlib de-escalation zone. The pilot had enough time to announce he had ejected into the zone, under the control of al-Nusra Front fighters,” it added.
As per the reports, the helicopter was gunned down with the help of moveable anti-aircraft missile technique.
The Russian army stated that it had taken the lives of over 30 al-Nusra Front fighters at the time of attack with “lofty weapons” in the region where the helicopter was blast down.
The area where the helicopter was crash-landed is operated by a jihadist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.
Prior, the opposition group gunned down Syrian helicopters but it wasn’t of the Russian military.
At Least five Russian soldiers lost their lives in August 2016 after their choppers were attacked down by rebel outfit in Idlib.
Turkey attacked a Russian military aircraft in November 2015 that led to political crisis among Moscow and Ankara.

‘Khiladi of Bollywood’ Akshay Kumar starring film ‘Gold’ first trailer is likely to release on the social media on February 5.
Gold film revolves around Indian hockey men’s team triumphing a medal at London Olympics in 1948. The film has been made under Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. It is the first time that the actor is collaborating with Excel Entertainment.
In film Gold, Akshay Kumar is essaying the role of Balbir Singh. The film is slated to hit the theatres on August 15 this year.
The movie is directed by Reema Kagti and also stars Amit Sadh and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Gold film is Mouni Roy’s first debut film in Bollywood. The actors finished their shooting of film in the month of December 2017.
Producer Ritesh Sidhwani wrote earlier, “It is not a biopic. It is a completely fictional story but it is set against a real backdrop between 1933-48 India about what the country was, the sports… About hockey. It is not based on any character.”
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar will be seen in film ‘Padman’. The film is a biopic based on the life of Pad maker Arunachalam Muruganantham. Apart from Akshay, it stars Radhika Apte, Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles. It is slated to release on 9 February this year. ‘Padman’ is directed by R. Balki.
PV Sindhu Enters India Open Women’s Singles Final, defeats Ratchanok Intanon
Tennis Champ PV Sindhu defeated former World Champion Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand 21-13, 21-15 on Saturday in straight games to reach to the women’s singles final of India Open Women’s Singles Final.
Sindhu will now play against fifth seed Beiwan Zhang of USA in the final today. She made an exciting beginning by securing 12 points on the run.
Sindhu and Ratchanok showed their terrific game and it was no doubt a tough match. But PV Sindhu managed to clinch the game against her opponent player.
On the other hand, Beiwan Zhang beat sixth seeded Hong Kong’s Cheung Ngan Yi 14-21, 21-12, 21-19 in the Super Series title. Zhang wrote, “I have the habit of starting slowly. But then I forced her to make errors. But I’m not surprised to be in the final.”
Beiwan Zhang had ease passed Saina Nehwal of India 21-10, 21-13 in 32 minutes.
In the men’s category, China’s Shi Yuqi and Chinese Taipei’s Chou Tien Chen will face off each other after clinching their semifinals.
In the double’s category, hopes for Indian team finished when duo Pranaav Jerry Chopra and Sikki Reddy were thrashed away by Denmark’s players Mathias Christiansen and Christinna Pedersen 16-21, 19-21 in the semifinal rounds.
Indonesian duo Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu (Ina) defeated Danish top seeds Kamilla Rytter Juhl and Christinna Pedersen 21-14, 19-21, 21-18 in the women’s doubles category.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features leaked in renders, likely to come with dual cameras
Chinese smartphone maker company Xiaomi is likely to launch its Redmi Note 5 soon in Indian markets. The renders of cellphone have been leaked online and it is almost similar to Redmi Note 4. The rumours revealed that this handset might unveil with dual cameras.
The leaks disclosed that Redmi Note 5 is will come up with full-metal body, involve rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset features 5.99-inch 1080p+ 18:9 display and comes with dual cameras (16-megapixel sensor, 5-megapixel sensor) on the rear side. It will be launched in three colour variants including gray, black and blue.
Redmi Note 5 supports Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, comes with 4GB of RAM and involves 64GB internal storage. The handset run on Android Nougat-based MIUI 9 and involves 4,100mAh battery.
On the other hand, Redmi Note 4 involves 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display. It supports Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506GPU. It comes with 2GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB storage and supports 4,100mAh battery.
The smartphone involves 13-megapixel rear camera that comes with f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash, Phase Detection Autofocus. The handset involves 5-megapixel camera on the front to take selfies.
