Rajasthan By Polls 2018: Congress leads in Ajmer, Alwar

Rajasthan: Congress has left behind Alwar and Ajmer Lok Sabha seats during the counting of votes for the Assembly by-polls. At the same time, the Congress has also occupied Mandalgarh seat. The counting of votes for two Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections started on Thursday from 8 am morning.

According to the State Election Department spokesman, Congress candidate from Ajmer Radhu Sharma is leading from Ram Swaroop Lamba of BJP and Congress’s Karan Singh Yadav is leading from Jaswant Singh Yadav of BJP. Congress candidate Vivek Dhark at Mandalgarh assembly constituency is leading from his opponent candidate.

As per election department, Lok Sabha by-elections counting for Alwar, Ajmer and Mandalgarh Assembly by-election polling began at the district headquarters with lot of security.

By-elections counting in the state is being done through mandatory verification method. In Alwar Lok Sabha by-election, polling was held at Babu Shobaram State Arts College. The counting will be completed in different rounds in Tijara district, Kishangarh, Mundawar, Alwar, Ramgarh, Ramgarh, Rajgarh, Laxmangarh.

Similarly, for the Ajmer parliamentary constituency, the ballot started between the security arrangements in the State Polytechnic College where counting of votes will be finished in different rounds in Kishangarh, Pushkar, Ajmer, Ajmer, Nasirabad, Kekdi, Dudu.

Apart from this, counting of votes started at 8’o clock in Tilak Nagar of Bhilwara district at State Polytechnic College. Results will be made available on the Election Department website roundwise.

It is worth mentioning that for the Alwar Lok Sabha by-election in January last year received 61.93 percent votes, Ajmer Lok Sabha by-election polls noted 65.59 percent voting while 78.68 percent of the voters voted in Mandalgarh assembly by-election.

As per US Geological Survey, the earthquake strike close to Afghanistan’s northern border at a profundity of 191 kms.

The focal point was in Jurm district of Afghanistan’s Badakhshan Province, reports stated.

Nearly two strong shakes were felt in Kabul on Thursday.

As per the reports, 3 persons were wounded in Afghanistan’s Jurm district.

An earthquake of magnitude 7.5 hit Kabul in October 2015 that led to landslides, destruction of buildings. Over 380 people lost their lives in the casualty.

The tremors of earthquake were faced by people in Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore and New Delhi.

One girl lost their lives in Pakistan’s Quetta town after her residence distorted during the tremor.


Nearly ten people were wounded in Khyber Pakhtuhwa. The evacuation teams reached to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to overlook the situation. In the earthquake, a school building got destroyed in Peshawar and many children are feared to be wounded.

Song out! ‘PadMan’ new track ‘Sayaani’ celebrates a girl’s first period

Recently, a new song from Akshay Kumar starrer ‘PadMan’ has been released. The title of this song is ‘Sayaani’. The actor, Akshay Kumar himself shared the song on Twitter with a caption, “Ladki #Sayaani ho gayi, hum kab honge?”
The song opens with Sonam Kapoor’s character mumbling, “How can a man be so obsessed with chums?”
The video also has Akshay’s powerful dialogues from the movie. The scenario shows some ladies from the village which are seen following the age-old tradition of celebrating the commencement of menstruation of a girl, while a few young boys term it as a “test match”.
Composed by Amit Trivedi and written by Kausar Munir , the song ‘Sayaani’ have the beautiful voices of the singers Yashita Sharma, Jonita Gandhi, Yashika Sikka and Rani Kaur. It celebrates a girl’s first period. The film is directed by R Balki and is the maiden production venture of Twinkle Khanna.

Asus to launch ZenFone 5 series at MWC 2018 event

Taiwanese company Asus is ready to unveil its ZenFone 5 series at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event in Barcelona, Spain. The company has started sending invitation for its MWC conference to its clients that is slated to be held on February 27. Asus’s invitation gives clue about the propel of ZenFone 5 series by writing #BACKTO5 hashtag.

As per the reports, Asus Zefone 5 series will be launched at MWC 2018 at 7:30pm CET on February 27.

Prior, Asus handset was spotted with model number ASUS_X00QD. The handset is likely to include Android 8.0 Oreo and feature dual-band 802.11ac, Wi-Fi. The company is expected to launch Asus ZenFone 5 Max during the event.

Apart from it, Asus is likely to launch ZenFone 5 Lite handset that recently got certification in Russia. The handset is likely to include 6-inch display that comes with aspect ratio of 18:9 and support Snapdragon SoC.

Prior January, the company unveiled its ZenFone Max Plus (M1) smartphone in US markets. The cellphone involves cost of $229 (approx Rs. 14,500). It boasts full-HD+ display and comes with a dual camera setup on the rear side.
