ISRO Successfully Launched 100th satellite PSLV C40, 31 others
After failed launch of satellites since four months, Space agency ISRO on Friday productively sent a 42nd rocket PSLV C40 with 30 more satellites at 9.29 am from Sriharikota in AP. The take off was delayed by a minute due to dread of crash with space wreckage. IRNSS-1H satellite launch on August 31 in 2017 had botched due to unaccountable mishap.
The list of 30 other satellites involves 2 satellites from India and 28 others from Canada, France, Finland, Korea, US, UK.
As per the reports, the entire weight of 31 satellites sent on-board PSLV-C40 is approx 1,323 kg.
ISRO unveiled 28 international customer satellites based on the commercial preparations between ISRO and its marketable wing ‘Antrix Corporation Ltd’.
The launch of satellites is believed to take place over a time of 2 hours and 21 seconds. As per ISRO, Cartosat-2 series satellite instigate is an aftermath operation with the main purpose of giving high resolution scene particular spot descriptions.
42nd PSLV satellite launch signifies the primary for ISRO this year following the failed mission of navigation satellite IRNSS-1H in 2017.
Indian-origin death-row Convict Execution date set for February 23
WASHINGTON: Indian-American prisoner Raghunandan Yandamuri execution date has been fixed by local correctional officials for Feb 23. The culprit was issued death penalty for abducting and slaying 61-year-old aged Indian woman and her minor grand-daughter.
The accused is expected to get a remission due to 2015 stay on death penalty by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf.
Raghunandan Yandamuri is the foremost Indian-American to witness death penalty.
The reports stated that culprit had arrived to the United States on H-1B visa. He pursued electrical and computer science engineering. Yandamuri mislaid his plea in April 2017
As per the report, Wolf levied a suspension on the death penalty in year 2015. State authorities are in anticipation of the consequences of a study carried out by the Pennsylvania Task Force, Advisory Committee on Capital Punishment.
Since 20 years, Pennsylvania has not noticed any capital punishments.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starts shooting of film ‘Stree’ in Chanderi
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are all set to start their first schedule shooting of horror-comedy film ‘Stree’ soon. The duo has left for Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh for the shooting of movie. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The script of movie is written by Raj Nidimoru.
“The starcast is off to Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh, where they will shoot the whole movie. This is also the first time a Bollywood film is being shot in the fort town,” the source adds.

Pro Wrestling League : UP Dangal defeated Punjab Royals by 4-0
UP Dangal beat Champions Punjab Royals by 4-0 in the Pro Wrestling League in a thrilling match that took place at the Siri Fort Stadium on Thursday. The encounter between the two teams was at par with the score of 3-3.
In 57kg category, Nitin beat Utkarsh Kaale by 8-7 in an exciting match and give UP Dangal 4-3 win against Punjab in the tournament. In the first bout of match, one sided game was seen between Punjab Royals player Jitendar and UP Dangal’s Bekzod Abdurakhmonov.
U.P. team Dangal Girl Geeta Phogat and Grigorjeva Anastasija played second game in 62-kilograms category. Anastasija beat Punjab by 14-2 to win the game.
The third encounter was held between Punjab’s Khatri and UP’s Vicky in 92 kilograms category. In the third match starting, player Mausam took a lead against Vicky by 4-0 till half time, but in the second half Mausam injuries put Punjab team in trouble.

As per the company, the sale of smartphone will get start from January 20. The customers can purchase handset from e-commerce platform Amazon India. Pre-Orders for handset have started on e-commerce website.
