Earthquake of magnitude 5.1 strikes Jammu & Kashmir
An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours of Thursday. The earthquake hit 111 km northeast of Thang. No casualties were reported in areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
On Wednesday, an earthquake of magnitude 5.5 hit Delhi- National Capital Region (NCR) and northern India. As per IMD, the focal point of earthquake was Rudraprayag in Uttarakhand.
According to IMD’s National Seismological Centre, the earthquake took place at 8:49 pm and ended after 10-15 seconds. IMD also disclosed that the epicentre was at intensity of 30 km. Luckily, the force of earthquake dissolute speedily.
The trembles of earthquake were faced by people in Dehradun, Patiala and Chandigarh on Wednesday.
The earthquake struck Uttarakhand for the second time on Wednesday while medium intensity earthquake of magnitude 3.3 hit Uttarakhand on Tuesday.
Voting opens for Nepal’s second phase of polls
Voting started on Thursday in 45 districts of Nepal for the concluding phase of the historic provincial and parliamentary polls that many expectation will bring the required political constancy to the Himalayan nation.
Over 12.2 million balloters are qualified for the polling rights in the second phase of the ballots.
The polling will be held today for 128 constituencies of Parliament’s House of Representatives in addition to 256 seats of Provincial Assemblies in 45 districts.
Overall 4,482 people involving PM Sher Bahadur Deuba will be struggling with their fortune in the concluding phase.
In the elections, 1,663 candidates from House of Representatives are competing and 2,819 contender are challenging for the Provincial Assemblies.
About 15,344 polling centres have been made. The voting will get start from today.
The initial phase of the votes was successfully conducted in 32 districts on November 26.
For the ballots, around 200,000 security officers have been positioned in an effort to increase the security at several parts of Nepal before polls.
The polls will decide on 128 Members of Parliament and 256 Members of the Provincial Assemblies.
The votes are a key step toward putting into practice the new Constitution.

The latest teaser poster showcases Ranveer is in his natural lively self as he has chosen the character of a policeman, Sangram Bhalerao urf Simmba. In the film, Ranveer is ‘disreputable’ cop who will certainly hit a chord with moviegoers.

MS Dhoni set to comeback to Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2018
The Governing Council of Indian Premier League on Wednesday permitted the comeback for MS Dhoni in Chennai Super Kings team. The matches will be held next year.
After a discussion, IPL Governing Council permitted Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals team, which was also barred for suspected fixing in matches, to keep hold of the players which were on their 2015 list. The player last played in Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) team.
“An IPL Franchise is qualified to get up to 5 players by good quality of a mixture of Player Retention (Pre Player Auction) and Right to Match (RTM) (During the Player Auction),” BCCI Acting Secretary Amitabh Choudhary stated.
Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were excluded because of 2013 spot-fixing misconduct. It not only included players but also involved top representatives of the two teams.
The Governing Council also increased the salary budget of the teams from Rs 66 crore to Rs 80 crore for 2018’s sale slated for February.
“The smallest amount spend will be 75 per cent of the salary limit for every term,” the BCCI asserted.

Talking about the features of phone, Huawei Nova 2s boasts 6-inch full HD+ display that involves pixel resolution of 2160 x 1080, aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone supports 2.4GHz Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor. It boasts 64GB inbuilt storage that can be expandable to up to 256GB using micro SD card. The cellphone has a fingerprint scanner located on the home button.
Coming to camera details, Huawei Nova 2s phone has two camera on the front and two camera at the back. It involves 16-megapixel RGB camera sensor and 20-megapixel monochrome sensor that supports f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, PDAF, 4K video recording. The cellphone has 20-megapixel camera on the front that comes with f/2.0 aperture and another camera involves 2-megapixel dual-camera setup.
