NGT dismisses Delhi government, denies to exempt two-wheelers and women in Odd-Even
Delhi: The Delhi government has rejected its petition before the National Green Tribunal (NGT) in the odd-even case. On Tuesday, NGT stated that it requires to make alterations to the scheme. The government has inquired it to look after logical clarification when they approach the tribunal again.
The National Green Tribunal went on a rough line of interrogation against the Delhi government, reports said. It stated that the Delhi government has unlocked the schools and what the government was doing was illegal.
NGT had directed the Delhi government why it could not operate ladies-only buses to deal with transport problems throughout the days when odd-even was valid. It also directed why two-wheelers have been let off where have been reports that they are more contaminating than four-wheelers. NGT asserted that 31 percent of effluence releases from two-wheelers.

Kejriwal government on Monday had lodged a review petition at the NGT in which it ordered release for women drivers and two-wheelers for 2017.
“We have lodged the review petition ordering exemptions for women drivers and two-wheelers for this year only,” Delhi government counsel Tarunvir Singh Khehar stated.
Earlier, the NGT interrogated the Delhi government for not lodging a review petition and doubted if its statement on Saturday was a media attention-grabber. Khehar reacted that the holdup in lodging the review petition was because of registry matter.
Death toll reaches to 450 in Iran Earthquake, rescue operators finishes operation
The death toll in Iran earthquake has reached to 450 today. The Iran stated on Tuesday that evacuations have finished in areas strike by a strong earthquake that lost the lives of nearly 450 people and wounded several others.
“The evacuations in the (western) Kermanshah province have finished,” Pir-Hossein Kolivand, head of Iran’s Emergency Medical Services stated.
The magnitude of earthquake was 7.3 that struck villages and towns in the Kermanshah province of Iran. Nearly 14 provinces in Iran were badly affected due to tragedy.
“It is a very cold night… we need help. We need everything. The authorities should speed up their help,” a victim said.
On Monday, Iran’s top authority Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei articulated his pity over the tragedy and asked government agencies for necessary measures.
The photographs of incident have gone viral on the social media. Iranian officials affirmed the probability of looking out any more survivors were very less.
The video footage on social media showcased hundreds of critically wounded people in hospitals.
“People in some villages are still in dire need of food, water and shelter,” governor of Qasr-e Shirin Faramarz Akbari told state television.
Over 30,000 houses in Iran were destroyed and nearly two villages were completely broken, Iranian authorities stated.
“More people will die because of cold. My family lives in a village near Sarpol-e Zahab. I cannot even go there. I don’t know whether they are dead or alive,” Rojan Meshkat, 38 asserted.

Race 3 is a third part of Race franchise. ‘Dabangg’ Salman has reportedly demanded the filmmakers to add in more humour, transform the drug-racket angle and lessen the intimate scenes.

Pakistan’s pacer Saeed Ajmal announces retirement from all formats of cricket
Pakistan’s cricketer Saeed Ajmal announced his retirement from all forms of cricket yesterday.
All through a victorious but contentious career, Saeed Ajmal was once commemorated as the world’s number one bowler in ODIs, T20 and test matches. In year 2012, he took 24 wickets in three Test matches against England. Following impermanent ban, he came back to the game in year 2015 but not in good form.
During two ODIs and a Twenty20 in Bangladesh, he clinched only one wicket. Later, he was never chosen for the national team.
“I am resigning from all forms of cricket after the current National Twenty20 tournament,” Ajmal stated.
“It was a highly fulfilling career in which I secured whatever goal I set for myself and assisted the team triumph games.”
Ajmal clinched 178 wickets in 35 Tests including match in Sri Lanka in year 2014. He completed with 184 wickets in 113 ODIs, 85 in 64 T20 internationals.
The player won’t be seen playing in the forthcoming season of the Pakistan Super League either as he has been selected as the bowling coach of Islamabad United.
His best innings were during match in 2012 when he clinched 24 wickets in three Tests and helped Pakistan triumph the series 3-0.
