PM Narendra Modi pays tribute to social activist Kunwar Bai on International Women’s Day
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a tweet on Wednesday and paid tribute to all those women’s who contributed a lot in the society.
On Twitter, Modi wrote about Kunwar Bai, “I will always cherish the time when I had the opportunity to seek Kunwar Bai’s blessings during one of my visits to Chhattisgarh. Kunwar Bai lives on in the hearts and minds of all those who are passionate towards fulfilling Bapu’s dream of a clean India. #SheInspiresMe”.
PM Narendra Modi is likely to visit Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The program will be broadcasted live across all schools in Rajasthan. Narendra Modi is likely to address an event through video conference on ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ programme.
During the programme, PM Narendra Modi is also likely to contact with recipient mothers and girl children of the event. Modi will also hand out certificates to finest performing districts under the program.
US : 1 student dead, another injured in gun fire at Birmingham school in Alabama
Nearly one student died and another teen was wounded in gunfire at an Alabama high school in Alabama on Wednesday.
As per cops and school officials, the incident occurred at Huffman High School in Birmingham, Alabama at 3:15 p.m. Birmingham Police Chief Orlando Wilson stated that the gun attack takes the lives of 17-year-old girl and injured 17-year-old boy.
Two Alabama high school students were indulged in a gun fire after their discharge from the school.
“The school was set on a short lockdown, and cops were called to overlook the situation. Students have been discharged and police are actively probing the conditions surrounding the gunfire,” the statement read.
Recently, ex-student of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School opened gunfire in south Florida that takes the lives of nearly 17 people.
President Donald Trump wrote on social media recently after the Florida shooting that the teachers must be trained and they should be given arms so that they can respond to attackers.

PVR cinemas has decided to pay tribute to the First Female star of Bollywood, Sridevi Ji by showcasing her popular films across their branches all day on the occasion of Women’s day.
Multiplex chain PVR is screening her iconic films like ‘Chandni’ (1989), ‘Chaalbaaz’ (1989), ‘Lamhe’ (1991) and her last two Bollywood films ‘English Vinglish’ (2012) and ‘Mom’ (2017) at their theaters across the country.

Indian Pacer Mohammad Shami’s wife blames him of assault, torture and extramarital affairs
Indian bowler Mohammad Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan has blamed him and put the charges of cheating, assault, torture, several extramarital affairs against him. On social media, Shami’s wife even posted several text messages of her husband and their girlfriends.
Hasin Jahan affirmed that she even recovered a cellphone concealed in his BMW car. He was also having extra phone just for the top secret chats. Jahan even blamed her hubby of doing “sex chats” with prostitutes. Since two years, Shami’s wife has been facing torture by him and his family, she added.
“Everyone in Shami’s family used to abuse me. His mother and brother used to mistreat me. The abuse would continue till 2-3 in the morning. They even wanted to kill me,” she said.
“I tried not to disclose things and make it up. I told him to confess his fault but he denied to do that. He has affairs with several women. I told him that I will escort him in the trips in future if he assures not to continue with these extra-marital relations. Now I will not discontinue short of taking lawful step against him,” she added.
“All this continued after he comeback from South Africa. He has been doing this for quite some time now and now I have had enough. I gave him enough time and tried to calm myself down but instead of accepting his own mistakes, he used to vent his anger on me and even threaten me, asking me to keep mum for my own goodwill,” Hasin Jahan said.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 may launch in India on March 14
Chinese smartphone maker company Xiaomi unveiled its 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A in Indian markets recently. Now, the company has started teasing about its new handset Redmi 5. The fresh reports revealed that the cellphone may be launched in India on March 14.
In December 2017, Xiaomi unveiled its Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in Chinese markets. Redmi 5 Plus features 5.7-inch HD+ display, supports Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The cellphone boasts dual SIM slot and supports 12-megapixel rear camera and on the front 5-megapixel camera to take selfies. It has 3,300mAh battery to give power to the phone. The cellphone runs on MIUI 9.
Redmi 4 has 5-inch 720p display and supports octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera and on the front involves 5-megapixel to take selfies. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI. It comes with 4,100mAh battery.
