Kashmir: Pakistan Army contravenes truce again, firing on forward posts in Nowshera

Pakistan army continued firing on Indian army in Nowshera’s Khori Baba area of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning. Indian army have hit back successfully. Pak Army began gunfire at 8.55 am today. No one has been injured or died.

The truce infringement by Pakistan army started 36 hours following the Indian Army attacked 3 Pakistani soldiers along LoC on Monday.

On Sunday, the Indian army had also attacked a Pakistani sharpshooter along the LoC in Nowshera area as he was planning to fire on Indian army.

The attacks were carried out by a squad of Ghatak squad of an infantry division. They were trying to attack on the post of Baloch Regiment in the Rakh Chikri sub-sector of Rawalakot. They even made use of bombs after heavy firing amid India and Pak on Monday Evening.

On Twitter, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) had shared post regarding death of three soldiers.

Till now, around 820 truce infringements have been carried out. In year 2016, it was noted 228 and 152 in year 2015. In 2017, nearly 14 soldiers lost their lives in truce infringement along the LoC. Over 59 terrorists have been died while making infiltration in 2017 as compared to 37 and 30 terrorists who died in 2016 and 2015 correspondingly.

New Zealand defeats West Indies by 66 runs in 3rd ODI

New Zealand cricket team defeated West Indies by 66 runs in the third one day international match held on Tuesday. Mitchell Santner and Trent Boult took six wickets to take rain-affected match to their side.
