Naxals attack at Masudan railway station in Bihar, two officials kidnapped, no casualty
Naxalites assaulted Masudan railway station in Bihar on Tuesday night and set the station property ablaze. As per the reports, Naxals have also kidnapped two railway authorities, involving the assistant station master.
The kidnapped assistant station master informed the matter to Maldah DRM on call stating that Naxals have menaced to attack them if trains persist to ply on Masudan track. Every traveler demanded to take other option as a safety action.
Till now, no loss have been reported yet. The railway authorities have not announced anything about the matter.
Rajesh Kumar, CPRO Eastern Railway, asserted that rail services have been discontinued at Kiul-Jamalpur-Bhagalpur section of Malda Division.
On 3 August 2017, a faction of 20 Naxals had allegedly hijacked a train in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. Following abduction of two cabin men, Naxalites had then interrupted rail services on two lines.
Naxalites often hit railway stations, mobile phone towers, administrative offices.
In October 2016, nearly 20 naxals allegedly targeted a railway station in Odisha.
Mexico: Bus carrying foreign tourists crashes in Quintana Roo, 12 dead
At Least twelve people lost their lives and 18 others were wounded on Tuesday in Mexico’s Quintana Roo in a bus crash. The driver of bus lost control at the time of incident and rolled over during a tour.
There were about 31 travelers, involving people of the United States, Brazil and Sweden. Quintana Roo and Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula are very famous tourist spots.
As per spokeswoman Cynthia Martinez, 27 commuters had been roving on Royal Caribbean cruise ships. “Our empathy go out to all those indulged in the bus accident,” Martinez affirmed. She added “We are doing all we can to care for our guests, involving helping with medical care and transportation.”
The travelers were going to the archaeological zone of Chacchoben when the incident occurred on Tuesday. Following the mishap, the victims were rushed to hospitals, Bus Company Costa Maya stated. 5 victims have been released and the wounded were in better condition, it added.
Quintana Roo’s government affirmed that it was probing the reason of the mishap. The U.S. embassy in Mexico stated it was functioning with officials to check if U.S. natives were on board the bus.
In year 2016, around eleven tourists were died in accident in Quintana Roo when their bus overturned on the way to Cancun.

Vodafone unveils A20 Smartphone in partnership with Itel at just Rs. 1,590
Telecom service provider Vodafone has partnered with Itel, a mobile handset company to come up with a new smartphone Itel A20. On the purchase of handset, the customer will get cash back of Rs 2100. The price tag of Itel A-20 smartphone is Rs 3690, but after the offer, it can be purchased at just Rs 1590.
Vodafone stated in a release that to take benefit of this partnership, consumers of Itel and Vodafone will have to purchase A-20 smartphone at Rs 3690 and for 18 months, they have to do recharge of 150 rupees. After doing recharge of 150 rupees for 18 months, the customers will get a cashback of Rs. 900. If the user will exceed this recharge, they will get cashback of 1200 rupees for next 18 months.
