Two terrorists killed in Shopian encounter, one militant alive
At Least two terrorist died in an all night clashes with security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
On Monday, security forces conducted a cordon and search operation in Wanipora area of Shopian evening after receiving details about the existence of terrorists in Shopian district, an army official affirmed.
As per the officials, when armed forces confronted the terrorists, they started firing to attack them.
As per cop spokesman, “the corpses of both the terrorists along with their weapons have been seized”.
The investigation was still on as a third terrorist was currently active and he had “begun gunfire again,” Muneer Khan, inspector general of cop asserted.
The terrorists have been found as Tanveer Ahmad Bhat from Bhatmaran in Shopian. The terrorist who is alive currently is believed to be a non-local.
“Two militants have died so far and the investigation is still in evolution,” the official affirmed.
Kabul: Nearly two militants countervailed as ISIS attack intelligence training centre
Terrorists attacked an intelligence agency training centre in Kabul on Monday in an attack carried out by Islamic State group.
Armed forces clashed with the terrorists, congregated in a construction site at the National Directorate of Security (NDS) for several hours ahead of attacking nearly two attackers.
“They were well secreted in buildings under construction. We blow up their VBIED and attacked two or three of them,” a source asserted.
Kabul cop spokesman Basir Mujahid affirmed two cop officers were wounded in the attack but there were no resident fatalities.
At the time of attack, several roads were blocked and dozens of cops and intelligence officers disrupted access to the public.
Ever since May 31, security in Kabul was raised after a huge truck bomb explosion held in the city that takes the lives of 150 people and injuring 400 others.
“I was departing toward my school. The attack happened abruptly… The cops reached to the area fast and seized the roads, not permitting anybody to get to their residences,” Naweed, a student stated.

It could be a disability or any state but if we just look at it as simply a hiccup, we can appear as a victor. It won’t come in the way of getting our thoughts. Hichki is built on this constructive basis and I decided to take it up.”
Karnataka beats Vidarbha in Ranji Trophy semi-final
Karnataka team defeated Vidarbha at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Monday in Ranji Trophy match. T Player Karun Nair’s struggle helped the team to take a lead against the opponent team. Nair clinched victorious 148 runs off 261 balls and assisted Karnataka finish the day on 294 score for 8 wickets.
After wrapping up the match for 185 runs, Vidarbha put great efforts to dominate Karnataka when they were at a score of 27 runs for 3 wickets.
