New Delhi: Indian all rounder Ravindra Jadeja and opener batsman Cheteshwar Pujara have been selected in the Saurashtra squad whereas Ravichandran Ashwin and Murali Vijay have finalized their participation to Tamil Nadu for the initial round of the games of the Ranji Trophy league stage in the 2017-18 tournament.
But, Ravindra Ashwin and Jadeja’s participation is reliant on their availability for the three-match T20I series over Australia. The tournament will get start on October 7.
Ravindra and Jadeja was removed from India’s team for the One Day International tournament over Australia and Sri Lanka.
Saurashtra coach Sitanshu Kotak disclosed that Jadeja was slated to take part in the Indian team on September 30 whereas captain Pujara was all set to comeback to home by the conclusion of the month following concluding his county promise with Nottinghamshire.
Pujara clinched over 333 runs from 12 innings at an average of 27.75.
Though, Ravindra Jadeja made his last focused trip amid the Test arrangement against Sri Lanka, while Vijay had persevered through a genuinely long cutback in the wake of experiencing a surgery for wrist damage he maintained amid the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in March.
Vijay made a serene in the Tamil Nadu Premier League before he played for India Green in the Duleep Trophy scalping five wickets and scoring only 17 runs.
In the interim, Ashwin assumed a urgent part in securing the Division Two title for Worcestershire.
