Ranveer Singh says he was the first choice for Befikre

Ranveer Singh said he was the first decision of Aditya Chopra for Befikre right from the earliest starting point in spite of the chief having Shah Rukh Khan include as lead in all his three movies he made in his close to three-decade long profession.

"I am the slightest regional individual; I don't think I am entering anyone's territory. Adi sir wanted to make the film with me and I am involved in the project from its scripting. I am glad that my mentor has given me the opportunity to work under his direction. It's a big deal for me," said the on-screen character at the occasion to dispatch the melody You and Me from Befikre with Vaani Kapoor, his co-star in the film.

Befikre is set to discharge next month. The film has three melodies, created by Vishal-Shekhar and composed by Jaydeep Sahni.

Prior, Ranveer worked with Aditya Chopra on Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl where Aditya composed the tale of the film.

Taking note of that after Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, he is the main on-screen character in Bollywood coordinated by Aditya Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he said: "I am so glad and cheerful. I think I am fortunate to get such open door. Despite the fact that I need to work with huge names of Bollywood, I likewise need to work with youthful executives and new thought."

Despite the fact that the film is making news because of Ranveer and Vaani's kissing spree, he said that the film has a U/A declaration. This film speak to youthful personality of today's era. Actually, I am somewhat customary with regards to connections."
