JAIPUR: BJP President Amit Shah has asserted that his party wishes the Ram temple in Ayodhya to be built in a lawful way following joint discussion.
“BJP’s stand is apparent and pointed out in the last four Lok Sabha election polls. The holy place should be built in a legal way and there should be mutual conversation,” Shah stated in Jaipur.
On proposal that the creamy layer among SC, ST’s should be barred from reservation profits, the Mr Shah stated a verdict can only be taken following discussion with all political parties in Parliament.
Amit Shah asserted that every political party should talk about the matter of holding Lok Sabha and assembly elections at the same time and discuss with the Election Commission.
“We absolutely desire that Lok Sabha and state assembly elections should be carry out together…The BJP deems in the idea and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also articulated his wish with all political parties for dialogue,” he stated.
During the press conference, Mr Shah discussed about the key steps taken by the BJP-led government involving demonetisation, GST execution and end of shell companies.
He stated that the BJP was in no way against GST execution by UPA-led government but it was not in favor of the manner it was wanted to be employed.
“The states were insisting that losses faced by them should be entirely remunerated by the Centre. We agreed to their orders while executing the GST and now the states are with us,” Mr Shah answered to a query. “There were anxiety increased by the Opposition parties, but citizens of the country have admitted it,” he stated.
Inquired if the government plans to come up with any legislation on cow defense, Mr Shah stated that such laws before now exist in BJP-ruled states.
