Slam Charan plays a simple IPS officer in the Surender Reddy-film. Dhurva is the Telugu change of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan which highlighted Jayram Ravi in lead part. Performing artist Arvind Swamy plays the adversary inverse Ram Charan. V was likewise the reprobate in the film's Tamil variant.
