NEW DELHI: Silver medallist shooter of Athens Olympic Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore selected as the latest sports minister by BJP government today. He has replaced Vijay Goel from the position.
Earlier, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore was handling department of minister of state for information & broadcasting. This decision was taken by PM Narendra Modi during the BJP Cabinet reshuffle.
Colonel Rathore first ventured in a shooting range in the mid 1990s and a few years after the fact, he turned into India’s first since forever singular silver award victor at the Olympic Games.
