Dhaulpur: A truck driver was detained by Rajasthan Police during a traffic check on Agra-Mumbai national highway on Saturday for carrying illegal explosives.

As per Police Superintendent Rajesh Singh affirmed that during a blockade at highway a truck coming from Gwalior was stopped and searched by the cops.

The truck driver was arrested after the cops recovered good of 12 explosive cartridges, 12 carton of detonator fuse (total length 18000 meters), 20 cartoon gelatin, 12 reel fuse wire.

He said that the arrested person has been identified as Balla who belongs from Sarmathura. He said that detailed investigation is being done in this regard. Moreover,  a complaint has been lodged at Kotwali police station.
