Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court on Friday launched the e-stamp facility in its Jodhpur and Jaipur benches simultaneously. Rajasthan has become the fourth state in the country to provide the facility. Besides, the e-court fees centres were also inaugurated on Friday by Chief Justice Navin Sinha in Jaipur and Justice Govind Mathur in Jodhpur.
Till now, the facility was available in Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, the court fee stamp system would also continue along with e-stamp facility in Rajasthan HC.
The e-court fees centre with three counters has been set up in the basement of Rajasthan High Court Jaipur Bench. A similar centre has also been set up at Jodhpur HC. Moreover, soon the online e-stamp facility would also be started. In the second phase, starting the facility in district courts would also be considered.
Payment of court fees through e-stamps is a simple, easy and secure process. From the barcode of e-stamp it can be found if it is correct, genuine and not pre-used. Thus, the facility is completely secure and reliable and there is no possibility of any forgery or tampering.
