Rajasthan : Four persons died as overloaded truck hits car


ALWAR: Nearly four persons lost their lives after fully packed truck lost balance and strike their car on Saturday morning near Kathuwas bus stand on Rewari- Narnaul in Alwar.

The deceased have been found as Prakash Chand Jat (50), Navin Jat (18), Ten Singh Jat (40) and Pankaj Jat (27). “The four of them were driving back to their village near JhunJhunu after dropping one of their relative at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in New Delhi. At 4 AM near Kathuawas under Mandan police station area in Alwar the truck collided with the car,” a police official stated.

After the accident, the victims were taken to the hospital to undergo treatment.

As per the observer, the incident took place after an overloaded truck lost its control and hit the car. “Eye witness claimed that truck run over the car. The car looked like a tin shed as it was mangled and flattened,” the police official stated.

When police came to know about the incident, they immediately called up the crane as well as ambulance to the area. The victims were rescued from the car and were taken to the hospital for treatment. The case has been lodged against the driver at the police station.

As per the reports, recently Pankaj had tied knot with his wife and the car was gifted by his in-laws during the marriage. “Pankaj was the sole breadwinner of his family as his parents are old and ailing. A pall of gloom has descended upon the village of victims. The victims had called up their villagers only a few hours before the accident took place,” the police official stated.

Few days back, the full packed truck killed nearly five persons on June 6 close to Chomu Circle in Jaipur.
