Rains lash in parts of Rajasthan


Pre-monsoon rains lashed parts of Rajasthan with Banswara locale accepting the most extreme rainfall in the state at 11 cm. Banswara was trailed by Ajmer which enlisted a rainfall of 4 cm, the Met Department here said.

A few places in Rajsamand, Bundi, Dungapur, Pali, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur locale got 3 cm of rains while numerous different areas recorded beneath 3 cm of rainfall, it said. Barmer was recorded as the most hottest place in the state with a greatest of 41.6 degree Celsius. Churu, Sriganganagar and Pilani recorded their most extreme temperatures at 41, 39.8 and 39.1 degrees Celsius individually, the Department said.
