Amethi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will undertake a three-day tour of his parliamentary constituency Amethi from August 31 in which he is expected to rake up the issue of multiple development projects started by the UPA government being shelved by the Modi government.
"Will be in Amethi from 31st Aug-2nd Sept. Looking forward to meeting everyone! (sic)," he tweeted. District Congress chief Yogendra Mishra said, "On Wednesday, Rahul would reach Amethi late in the evening."
During his visit, on September 1, Rahul is scheduled to hold a janata darbar in the morning. The MP will also tour his constituency to oversee and inaugurate road projects being developed with the MP local area development funds.
He will address a public meeting in Jagdishpur before meeting with party leaders from the district. On September 2, Rahul is scheduled to preside over Amethi's district vigilance committee meeting.
