President Pranab Mukherjee will touch base in Uttarakhand on Tuesday for a three-day visit, authorities said. Elaborate security game plans were made for the prominent visit and security has been expanded at spots where he is slated to visit. On his first day, the President will introduce a building "Aashiana" at the Presidential Bodyguards' grounds at Rajpur street here.
He will likewise establish the framework stone of 12 new units and after a brief stopover would continue to Raj Bhawan. Representative K.K. Paul would have a supper for the President on Tuesday night. Mukherjee is planned to leave, with family, for the Kedarnath holy place on an Indian Air Force chopper on Wednesday.
In different schedules, Mukherjee will have a high tea for dignitaries and nearby VIPs at the Raj Bhawan on Wednesday. On Thursday, he will go to the Ganga Aarti on the banks of the stream at Haridwar. His stopover in Haridwar would be for two hours. He is set to leave for Delhi on Thursday in a unique plane from the Jolly Grant airplane terminal in Dehradun, an authority educated.
