"We want suggestions from everybody. I will extend the date for submitting suggestions till September 15,"said Javadekar.
HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said, “The government was not playing with the provisions for reservation or minority education institutions”
"We are not tinkering with any provision of the constitution, either in regard to reservation or minority education institution," Javadekar said in the Rajya Sabha on Friday.
In context of the the National Education Policy, the debate was held in Rajya Sabha on Thursday led by HRD minister.
“The discussion will remain continue in the next session, ”Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien said.
Javadekar said, “The government will extend the time for submitting suggestions for the education policy.”
Javadekar said, "We want suggestions from everybody. I will extend the date for submitting suggestions till September 15."
"We believe in democracy, we believe that education must give whatever is required to live life successfully," he added.
