Police file complaint against BJP workers, 2 activists attacked in Kerala

The assault in Palakad occurred after a crude bomb was hurled on RSS office in Kallachi in Kozhikode district. While Babu and Vineesh, who endured serious wounds in the stomach area and legs, have been admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital (KMCH), the other two have been taken to a private clinic here, a senior police official said.

Examination is in progress to find out the reason behind the attack, he said.

The RSS office was assaulted hours after a RSS functionary in Madhya Pradesh declared a Rs one crore abundance for decapitating Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Kundan Chandravat, ‘Sah Prachar Pramukh’ of RSS in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain, declared the reward to retaliate for the slaughtering of its laborers in Kerala, professedly by CPI-M specialists.

“The Kerala Chief Minister is killing our RSS workers who want to take this country forward. I will pay Rs one crore to anyone who beheads him even if I have to sell my house,” Chandravat was seen saying in a video, which has gone viral.

The RSS, however, distanced itself from Chandravat’s remarks.
