PM Narendra Modi praises Pankaj Advani for 18th world title

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Thursday applauded Indian billiards champion Pankaj Advani for securing his 18th world title in the IBSF World Snooker Championship.

Indian Arrows defeated Chennai City FC 3-0 in I-League

Pankaj Advani defeated Iran’s Amir Sarkhosh 8-2 in the finals of the match that took place at Al Arabi Sports Club in Doha on Monday.

On Twitter handle, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared, “Congratulations @PankajAdvani247 for clinching your 18th world title in the recently held IBSF World Snooker Championship. Your achievements make us very proud.”

Prior, the Khel Ratna awardee had clinched IBSF World Billiards Championship beating Mike Russell of England and achieved his 17th world title at Al Arabi Sports Club in Doha on November 12.
