PM Modi calls for boosting cooperation with Spain to fight terror


MADRID : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met Spain’s President Mariano Rajoy here and underlined the need for boosting bilateral cooperation in fighting terrorism that has affected both the countries.

Modi met Rajoy at the Moncloa Palace, the official living arrangement of the president and the ruler of Spain toward the beginning of today in the primary engagement amid his stay in the nation today.

External Affairs Ministry representative Gopal Baglay named the meeting a “crisp impulse to a diverse relationship”.

Modi, in a private convesation with Rajoy, called for fortifying reciprocal collaboration to battle psychological oppression as “both our nations” have confronted the security challenge.
