Pineapple addition Raita
Indian cuisine comprises of a number of regional cuisines. The diversity in soil type, climate, culture, ethnic group and occupations, these cuisines differ from each other mainly due to the use of locally available spices, herbs, vegetables and fruits. Indian food is also influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions. So here is the recipe of yummy pineapple raita:
- Pineapple chopped 1 cup
- Yogurt whisked 1 cup
- Roasted cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, cumin seeds, salt, sugar and coriander leaves. Mix well.
- Add pineapple and mix again. Serve chilled.
