Mahashivratri festival is associated with Lord Shiva. This year, this festival will be celebrated on February two days February 13 and February 14. You can celebrate Shivratri festival on any day. There is Triyodashi Tithi on February 13 whereas there is Chaturdashi Tithi on February 14 from 11.35 pm midnight while on 14th February, Chaturdashi tithi is from 12:47 and it will get over at 12:47 in the night.
Around 12 Shivratri’s come in a year but Shivratri which arises in a month of Falgun holds great significance among people. On this day, women and girls do fast with great devotion.
