‘Peepli Live’ film actor Sitaram Panchal died today at the age of 54. He was facing kidney and lung cancer since three-years.
One of his relative stated on social media, “Sitaram Panchal passed away this morning. He had breathing difficulties. He was not keeping well for a long time.”
Sitaram had done commendable acting in blockbuster films Bandit Queen, Peepli Live, Pan Singh Tomar, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Slumdog Millionaire.
On Wednesday, Sitaram commemorated his twenty-sixth marriage anniversary. His child Rishabh Panchal and wife Uma Panchal had even posted a photograph on social media platform Facebook.
He was confined to bed since one year and he had even shared on his Facebook account demanding for assistance so as to get correct treatment for kidney and lung cancer. He posted, “Brothers, please help me, I am suffering from cancer, your actor brother, Sitaram Panchal.”
Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) shared a post on Facebook, “It pains us to hear the suffering of our esteemed member Shri Sitaram Panchal. We assure him of all the help we can provide to him in his hour of need and also urge all of you to open your hearts.”
